It was the most fun I've had on the water yet this year. I thought it was a fun course and it was nice to be able to give our newbies something to do other than sit on the rail. I get that races like this may be challenging to newer skippers, but there is nothing that kills newbie crew's enthusiasm faster than going for a race where all they get to do is watch their shoes get wet sitting on the rail. Gotta at least give them a chance to move from one side of the boat to the other.
