Sunday was really super fun in the Wetas. Wind was mid to high teens with a couple of pressure bands that pushed into the low 20’s. Singlehanding the boat with main, jib, and spinnaker was very manageable. We were doing 7-9 knots upwind and hitting mid-teens downwind in a 14’ boat.

If you raced Lasers and Sunfish in your youth and you are looking for something fast, fun, easy (not only to rig but also on your body), check the Weta out. We now have two at PontYC . Great boat for female sailors also, weight is not as big a factor. Next event is Wetafest at FWYC and we are hoping for over 20 boats even with COVID restrictions.
