Capedeville change to more open type racing and draw in boats from TX, VA, NY and FL possibly or just more GYA boats. Last few events I saw that if SYC didnt bring 3-5 boats it would not have been much of a regatta. Viper was suppose to bring in younger sailors and 4 out of 5 racers out there were nearly 50 plus in age. Make the courses easier too for RC. Windward offset fine, leeward gate not necessary, a club shouldnt need an RC boat and two scat boats to run races. Keep it simple stupid, make the races less important so you don't have all the appeal crap (2 minute justice no appeal). Paper plates as awards. Get more boats on the line. No entry fees. Not sure on sails limit but I will listen. For non Lipton, do not care who drives or crews. Don't even care if they are a member of a YC. Don't care if it isn't a club boat. More boats the better.
