Re: Male Exclusion US Sailing.

I love how you state that US Sailing is not supporting women's sailing when the original point of this thread was that they are excluding men...
As to your claim that U.S. Sailing is killing our sport in the United States. I believe sailing has been dying for a while, so U.S. Sailing has had a major shift in its focus over the last decade. They may be a little less focused on high level racing (although I think that is even debatable) and are more focused on allowing access to sailing for those who would otherwise not be able to get on the water. There are far more community sailing centers now than there was a decade ago, U.S. Sailing has been key in kicking off Siebel Sailors (https://www.ussailing.org/education/youth/siebel-sailors-program/) which gives access to sailing for underserved youth, and many more that I am not going to list here. Just look at the U.S. Sailing website. If we want sailing to really grow, high level competition among the best sailors in the country is not going to do it. Yes, those regattas should exist, but how many sailors does that really serve? If you want the sport to grow, support U.S. Sailing and support getting more people out on the water.
