The 40ft boat was a Cal 35. We went counterclockwise betting on the west shift and while it didn't materialize exactly how we had hoped, we still finished at 2:34:59. We had a fast spinnaker reach to Slidell and then got great angles to Goose Point and M1. At M1 we had a race average boat speed of about 6.3kt. The wind lightened up and got shifty the last 5 miles and took some driving by Alyssa to keep us moving. Great race!
